A controlled water-change routine
- Place a dedicated collection container below the aquarium water level and secure the outlet.
- Start the flow using the hand-operated mechanism supplied with your chosen model.
- Guide the intake slowly, keeping it clear of fish, shrimp and plant roots.
- Stop at your planned water-change volume, then rinse and store the tool.
Choose a length that reaches your collection container without pulling the inlet out of position. Keep aquarium tools separate from household cleaning equipment.
