Livestock suitability
A 2.5 L container is too small for most fish as a permanent home and water conditions can change quickly. It is better suited to aquatic plants, display use or carefully managed temporary tasks. If considering shrimp, snails or any animal, first confirm mature filtration, stable temperature, species-specific minimum space and a secure lid where needed.
Setup and care
Rinse with clean water, place on a level surface and cycle any biological filter before adding livestock. Test ammonia and nitrite, change water as required and never rely on the “self-cleaning” label as a substitute for maintenance. Keep the tank away from direct sun and temperature swings.
