Acrylic Aquarium Breeding & Isolation Box – Small/Large

Description

This floating breeding and isolation box creates a temporary compartment inside an established aquarium. The current CJ source identifies the material as PP and lists complete small and large sets in white, green or blue. One complete fish hatcher set is included; choose the size and color shown in the selected option.

Practical uses

• Temporarily separate fry, a recovering fish or an individual that needs close observation.
• Keep the box within the main aquarium so water temperature remains connected to the established system.
• Use the floating format only when it is stable, adequately ventilated and suitable for the animal’s size.

Setup and welfare checks

Rinse the box with clean aquarium-safe water before use. Position it where water can exchange without exposing small fish or shrimp to a hazardous intake or strong current. Confirm that every opening is too small for the occupant to escape through and that the lid or rim cannot trap fins.

This is not permanent housing. Check temperature, dissolved oxygen, waste accumulation and the animal’s behaviour frequently. Crowding, prolonged confinement and poor circulation can quickly reduce water quality. Move the animal to an appropriately sized, cycled habitat if separation will last more than a short observation or breeding period.
