Setup and care
Hang the unit securely, position the intake so it remains submerged and test the return before adding sensitive livestock. Keep the USB connection dry, use a drip loop and connect only to a suitable USB power source. Rinse filter cotton in removed aquarium water when flow falls; replacing all media at once can reduce established biological filtration.
Compatibility and safety
Confirm rim clearance and test the actual current in your aquarium. Watch fish and shrimp after installation and reposition the filter if the return is too strong. This accessory supports routine filtration, but it does not replace water testing, water changes or suitable stocking.
