Description
This hand-operated aquarium suction tool is designed for small, targeted tasks rather than full tank draining. The current CJ source lists a length of about 28 cm, PVC construction and an approximate maximum volume of 30 ml. Blue and green color options are shown in the supplier data.
Useful spot-cleaning tasks
- Lift visible waste or uneaten food from a small area of substrate.
- Remove a small water sample for testing.
- Transfer a measured small amount of aquarium water during maintenance.
The tool may also help place a liquid treatment, but only when the product label provides an exact dose and confirms compatibility with the aquarium. Never use it to estimate medication by eye.
How to use it safely
Rinse the tool before and after use. Squeeze and release gradually so small fish, shrimp, snails, eggs, plants or loose substrate are not pulled into the opening. Keep the tip visible and away from eyes, gills and delicate fins. Use a separate, clearly labelled tool for any medication or chemical treatment to avoid cross-contamination.
This small accessory does not replace a gravel vacuum, filter or regular partial water changes. The supplier dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly because of manual measurement.
