Our ZY-SC aquarium sand shovel helps you move substrate and lift larger filter media while water drains through the slotted scoop. Use the compact version for work close to hand, or choose the extended version to reach further into the tank.

Useful around substrate and filter media
- Draining scoop: slots let water escape as you lift material from the aquarium.
- Removable handle: disassemble the tool for storage and reassemble it for the next maintenance session.
- Extended option: add the supplied handle sections when the working area is further from the tank rim.
- Broad scoop: move small batches of substrate or lift media large enough to remain above the slots.
Controlled movement around your aquascape
Move small amounts at a time, keeping the scoop clear of glass, silicone seams and plant roots. Let excess water drain before transferring material. The slotted head is useful for draining, so very fine particles may pass through its openings.
Rinse away residue after use and keep the tool dedicated to aquarium maintenance. Choose the standard format for close work or the long format when added reach suits your layout.
