Give your aquarium plants a place to grow

Add a planted edge to your aquarium without committing to a fixed position. This two-pack of aquarium plant holders is available in Black, Transparent and White. Each listed colour uses the same adjustable-hook and removable-basket format, so you can choose the finish that best suits your aquarium.

The plastic baskets are 4.5 inches (11.43 cm) deep and provide a place for plant roots at the tank edge. The removable design makes routine rinsing and rearranging straightforward.

Adjust the fit to your tank

The hook width adjusts from 0.4 to 2.4 inches (1.02–6.10 cm), with hook-height adjustment up to 3.94 inches (10.01 cm). Before ordering, check your actual tank-rim thickness and profile, lid clearance and the space available for the basket. Tank capacity alone does not determine whether the holder will fit.

Planting ideas

Choose plants suited to your aquarium and the available root space. For an emergent display, position the roots in the basket and keep foliage above the water as required by the plant. Follow the growing requirements of each species; do not fully submerge plants that need their foliage above water.

Specifications and contents

Use the adjustable hook on a compatible tank edge or the included suction cups on suitable smooth aquarium glass. Check that the holder is secure before adding plants, and keep the basket accessible for routine rinsing.
