Our bio sponge filter with ceramic media combines a fine sponge and a separate media chamber in one compact unit. The sponge traps particles, while the ceramic media provides surface area for biological filtration. Air bubbles move water through the filter without an impeller inside the unit.

What you need to run it
Connect the filter to an airline and an air pump rated at least 2 W. The air pump and airline are sold separately. Keep the air supply arranged according to the pump’s instructions, including protection against water backflow.
